So I just cloned myself, which is kind of weird to say. Yeah, it's uncanny to be honest. Leveraging some of the new AI models and a couple platforms out there where you're able to essentially upload a video of yourself and clone yourself and feed it a script -- this is wild. Let me just cut to it and you can see it for yourself.
"Hi, I'm Jason Macht -- well, the AI version. I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself, and yes, the video you're watching right now was completely AI generated. It's built on recordings of me speaking, and the script was created with ChatGPT, meaning it can be easily customized to connect with any specific audience. This is just a quick example of how AI can help create personalized messaging for your marketing or lead follow-ups. Imagine being able to generate hundreds of tailored video ads for Facebook, or send warm leads personalized messages by email or text, all with just a few clicks. With AI, it's possible to scale up personalization and make each interaction feel tailored and unique, helping you close deals faster and more effectively. This opens up a whole new possibility on how to engage and convert leads."
So that was the AI clone of myself, where essentially I trained a model on about five minutes of me talking. I could be talking about anything -- all it's doing is training the model on my voice and my look and feel, and it's kind of filling in the rest. And the script that you saw was actually generated by ChatGPT, so also AI generated.
Now I find this incredible because the realism and the feel that you get from these is getting better and better. Albeit, I would say on some sense it's a little monotone. I think after watching it for probably more than a minute you start to see a couple AI sort of ticks that give it away. But I think there's a ton of value in this, especially in short form video that you could then leverage to scale up things like marketing content.
Who wants to spend a bunch of time creating dozens of different video ads for YouTube or Facebook ads or whatever it might be? The scripts -- you could even have AI create the scripts for some of these video content pieces and create this at scale. Alternatively you could create personalized messages to people in your business, to leads, into emails or text messages that you send to potential clients or customers or whatever the case may be. So the power behind this is really interesting.
We'll see how far the adoption of it goes. It's also maybe a little dangerous, right? Because for the undiscerning person, this might pass by as something real. And in the hands of the wrong person, they're feeding in maybe nefarious scripting -- it could be a little dangerous. But fortunately I think it's pretty controlled in terms of your ability to generate these. You have to do some level of validation on the platform.
The platform I used in this example is called HeyGen, and I think it's really interesting and really fascinating. So I wanted to share this example of how you can actually leverage some of these AI platforms and tools to do something like video, speech, and even cloning of yourself. So hopefully this was interesting, and I would love to see your thoughts or reactions to the video and get some feedback on how do you think this fits into the world that we're living in today.
